For more than two decades, ASLI has taught Spanish to executives, doctors, government officials, artists, travelers, first-time Spanish students and people who simply want to brush up on their Spanish while experiencing Mexico.

Located in Cuernavaca, Mexico,  (Cuauhnáhuac) students also have a rich cultural landscape to explore with museums, activities, tours and award-winning restaurants just around the corner.

LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION

We hold classes Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (five hours). All classes emphasize a functional, conversational use of Spanish. We start classes every Monday. All levels of Spanish are accommodated.

HOLIDAYS

The following National Holidays are days observed with no classes held or makeup days: January 1, February 5, March 21, Good Friday, May 1, September 16, November 2, November 20, December 25, December 1 (when a new president is inaugurated, every six years)

Why Spanish?

Spanish is the second-most-spoken language in the world, with 405 million native speakers, and is an official language of the United Nations. Spanish is the official language of Spain and the majority of countries in Latin America – from Central America down to the bottom tip of South America – in addition to being widely spoken in the United States and Canada.

Despite the global economic downturn in 2008, Latin American economies have maintained strong and stable growth in recent years. In countries like Mexico, Colombia, and Chile, strong middle classes are emerging that are tech-savvy, educated, and ready to interact with the global market. The huge potential of the Spanish-speaking populations in Latin America is only now starting to show itself, and proficiency in Spanish will ensure that you’ll be able to explore this world.
